This week I invite you to see our lovely garden:
You can even see my shadow taking the picture. :)This reminds me of the times when my kids and I would work in the garden and I would describe to them how the garden is a reflection of our soul. (It kind of looks like my soul in the picture.)
I explained how the weeds are like sins in our soul, and you need to pull out the weeds by confessing your sins. Then the beautiful flowers, fruits and vegetables can grow just like the virtues in our soul.
I told them how much easier it is if we pull out the weeds while they are still small and few, before they gain root and spread.
Well, sometimes we weren't able to keep up with our garden as much as we would have liked, and the kids would come in from outside and tell me, "Mom, our garden needs to go to confession!" :D
By the way, does anyone have any good recipes for weeds?
Okay it's your turn. You can tell a story in the comments box, or add a link to your blog in the McKlinky.

My yard is in dire need of confession! I've been working on it this week, but we still have a ways to go! Very cute story. I was too late to link, but here is a link to a post I wrote about a month ago that had me laughing.
