This is Mickey. (Michael Joseph) He's our 11 year old. You can see what a cute baby he was by looking at our Pro-Life Tuesdays! button on the right hand margin.
Mickey loves to cook and especially bake. Recently when everyone else was away at a speech and debate tournament out of town,
Mickey stayed behind to take care of Caroline and me while we were sick for a whole week! (He also had a baseball game that week, but he said he would be glad to do it even if he didn't have a game.)

***Moms, we do believe in courtship--if you are planning ahead--but we have a two goat, three chicken minimum dowry requirement. ;)***
Anyway, when Mickey was four he would come into my room after nap time and exclaim to me, "Time for your hugs and kisses!!!" Too cute. :D
One day, during hugs and kisses time, he gazed at me with those huge blue eyes and declared with all sincerity, "Mom, when I grow up I'm going to marry you...because I'm in love with you Mom." Melt my heart! That's the second best proposal I've ever received. :)
Later, when Dad got word of this, he asked Mickey, "What about me Mick?" To which Mickey replied, "Oh, you can always come visit us, Dad. " :P
Okay, your turn. Leave a comment and add your linky below. I can't wait to read your adorable stories! If you don't have a blog or a post for this week, that's okay. Just read along and leave comments. ;)
***Also, check out Molly's plans for her missionary trip to El Salvador--below. Please help her with this mission by donating if you can. All proceeds from our boutique from now until July will go towards her trip. Thank you. :D***
