The youngest in a homeschooling family hardly needs schooling because of what they learn by osmosis.  Case in point:  I was talking to Kevin (8) today about our summer vacation plans and mentioned that he and Mickey (11) can have fun performing some short little Aesop Fable Plays for the family.  His reply: "Yeah...but I like Shakespeare and Dickens better...especially Dickens.  That's why I named my bear Charles." :D
