Come Visit Our Shocking Pink Sewing Room! :D

Karen Valentine at My Desert Cottage is hosting this great, big, blog party called "Where Bloggers Create". All of these talented bloggers are posting pictures of their space where they employ their designing imaginations. Visit her blog and pop in on the other design posts. :D

If you haven't visited us before, allow us to introduce ourselves:

We are a mom (Lucy), and two daughters (Molly & Caroline) team with a dream of making a pilgrimmage to France. So we started our Etsy shop (see photos left) and began creating together. Molly (age 16) is making a missionary trip to El Salvador in July, so we have diverted all of our shop earnings towards her mission in the mean time. You can read more about her exciting trip by clicking the link at right.

And now...drumroll please...here is our shockingly, shocking pink sewing room (in fact, that was the name of the paint we used -- no lie! :D)  Our contractor practically fainted when he saw it.  After we revived him he asked my husband if he thought I knew what I was doing.  "Absolutely!" Matt repiled, "I've seen her do this kind of thing before and it always turns out."  It's so nice to have support when going out on a limb. :D

Caroline is our chief embroidress. This type of work is more comfortable in
Dad's easy chair by the fireplace. (Casey agrees. :D)
